Lake Nakuru National Park a birdlover’s paradise is surrounded by Lake Nakuru. The park hosts over 400 bird species, including 5 globally threatened species. This park hosts one of the world’s highest concentrations of the Black Rhinoceros. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies northwest of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms that can arise.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Welcome to Leaberty Travel Lake Nakuru Safari . You will be met by our tours representative at 0700hrs for briefing on Lake Nakuru safari.Have a stop at View Point for stunning scenery from an elevated position, continue to Lake Nakuru Park. Start game viewing straight on arrival in the park in search of Rhino, Rothschild Giraffes, Waterbuck, Zebra, Leopard, and more. Have lunch during the warm midday at Lake Nakuru Lodge, than proceed game viewing from 16.00 pm to 18.00 pm. In the afternoon thousands of Flamingos paint the Lake’s shores gorgeously pink. Dinner and overnight your Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru-Lake Naivasha
Early breakfast then drive to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast we leave for Nairobi. We drive slowly and make stop-overs along the way to allow you enjoy the beauty of the Great Rift Valley. We arrive in the capital city early afternoon and drop you at the place of your choice within Nairobi.
